“CLASSY & SASSY: A CABARET TRIBUTE TO LENA HORNE”

“Classy & Sassy” starring Julia Breanetta Simpson pays tribute to the indefatigable Lena Horne. Ms. Horne was an American jazz and pop singer, dancer, actress, political and Civil Rights Activist whose career spanned over 70 years. “Classy & Sassy” explores the music which according to Ms. Horne was, “first my refuge and then my salvation.” Ms. Simpson is joined by an “Electric Trio” led by the exceptionally talented Mario Sprouse with special guest, world class woodwind player, Charlie Lagond.
