Cabaret on the Hudson is an evening of song mixed with wonderful stories where the audience feels they are part of what is happening on stage. Partnering with NiCori Studios and Productions, ITHT is excited to bring these amazing artists to our stage in an event  hosted by Corinna Sowers-Adler, multi-nominated cabaret artist and co-founder of Nicori Studios and Productions.

Adam Shapiro has been seen on the NY Stage in Gimpel Tam, The Megille of Itzik Manger, Barcode, and Jewsical: The Chosen Musical.  Regionally, Adam has performed in Ragtime, Footloose, Joseph…Dreamcoat, and Annie Get Your Gun. In Film/TV, Adam was featured in HBO’s The Normal Heart, NBC’s 30 Rock, Comedy Central, ID, and the upcoming film The Cobbler. A Wish, like a hope or a dream, whether simple or complex, is always personal. Yet the wishes of two artists can be expressed in one creative project like this one by Karen Oberlin and Sean Harkness. Karen had wished for years to make a duo recording with only guitar and vocals, and she found the ideal partner in Sean. When they first played together, spontaneously in an impromptu performance, they both knew they had to make an album together, or that became their great, mutual wish. Sean Harkness is one of the most deeply respected, genre-jumping and capable guitarists alive.
