Cabaret fans can enjoy the thrill of this hard-to-find genre without having to travel to Manhattan… Music and theater fans who haven’t experienced Cabaret will be dazzled by this very special series!  Multi-award-nominee and series host, Corinna Sowers-Adler, brings some of the finest Cabaret artists in New York to the Irvington stage for an intimate afternoon of heartfelt songs and storytelling.

Join us for our fabulous season finale of Cabaret on the Hudson — a unique series that brings outstanding cabaret performers to the Irvington Town Hall Theater stage– each performing a 25-minute sampling of their New York City cabaret show.  Many of the performers are Broadway veterans who have performed in New York City venues such as 54 Below, the Oak Room at the AlgonquinBirdlandFeinstein’s at Loews RegencyIridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center (to name a few).  Hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer (and host of the Music at the Mansion series)Corinna Sowers-Adler, the series features James Horan on piano.

About the Performers:

Liz McKendry got her start in Las Vegas performing in Donn Arden’s Jubilee! before landing a spot in the Broadway musical The Producers. She was also cast in the film adaptation of the show. Since then, McKendry has collected a wide range of credits in off-Broadway and regional theater and television roles, including performances in Sleep No More and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at the Paper Mill Playhouse.  She was also featured in The Young and The Restless on CBS and Mad Fashion on Bravo. Future projects include Up a Balloon, a new play written and directed by Karen Patricia McDonald, in which McKendry will star as Fay Templeton.  For more information, visit:

Kristoffer Lowe recently concluded a primetime engagement at The Metropolitan Room; his showYou’re Getting to Be a Habit With Me: The songs of Harry Warren received critical praise. An award-winning vocalist, he received a 2015 Bistro Award and 2015 MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) Award for his critically lauded show, Waiting for the Light to Shine. Lowe has sung at the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Hall and historic Town Hall, receiving the 2015 Julie Wilson Award for excellence in cabaret. Theatrical credits include Vallon in Showboat (national and Canadian tour), Chess: The Concert with Josh Groban, and Babes in Toyland at Avery Fisher Hall.  For six months Lowe sailed the high seas as lead singer aboard Holland America’s luxury liner, The Veendam.

Sidney Myer, a booking manager for over three decades (Don’t Tell Mama, Rose’s Turn and Panache), has presented artists that have gone on to Broadway, television and film careers.  He has received Emmy, Grammy, TONY, Oscar and Pulitzer Prize awards.  In 2009, Myer was featured on the front page of theSunday NY Times Arts Section under the headline “Saviors of the American Songbook.” Myer has performed Off-Broadway, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on Mancy Lamott’s DVD, I’ll Be Here With You,and was a regular on The Joey Reynolds Radio Show. He has performed at the San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago, Hamptons, Palm Springs, NYC, and London Mabel Mercer Cabaret Conventions. Myer is the recipient of MAC, Bistro, Broadway World, Mabel Mercer Foundation’s Cabaret Classics and Paula Laurence Awards.

Carole Demas’ prolific 55-year career includes her creation of “Sandy” in Broadway’s ORIGINAL Grease — along with thousands of leading roles on and Off-Broadway (including two years as “Luisa” in The Fantasticks, NYC) and regional theater (including ACT, Seattle; Penn State Rep, Milwaukee Rep). Demas originated The Baker’s Wife title role in LA, and was a Champlain and NY Shakespeare Festivals soloist. The beloved star of iconic children’s TV show The Magic Garden, Demas guest starred on classic TV dramas including Kojak, Mannix, and Barnaby Jones, with recurring roles on Edge of Night, One Life to Live and As the World Turns. She was a recent guest star in Blue Bloods and Allegiance.  Demas starred in PBS’s Showstoppers – The Best of Broadway.  Her Cabaret show at the Laurie Beechman Theater garnered rave reviews.  In addition to hundreds of live family concerts, Demas has performed at venues such as 54 Below, Metropolitan Room, New World Stages,and Concerts for City Greens.  For more information, visit:

Series hostess, singer/actress Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as “Best Host of a Variety Show” and “Best Female Vocalist” for the 2012 and 2014 Broadway World Cabaret Awards as well as an Excellence in Theater Education TONY Award. Sowers-Adler was a featured soloist at the 25th Annual New York Cabaret Convention held in the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center on October 21, 2014. She recently made her solo debut at Broadway’sSupper Club – 54 Below. Sowers-Adler has also toured and performed her solo cabaret shows Stories, By Request, Songs From the Heart and Let Me Sing and I’m Happy at venues in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
