Biagio Civale’s Exhibition
A solo exhibition at Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site in Yonkers this month represents 50 years of work, as expressed through the unique perspectives acquired during extensive traveling by artist Biagio “Gino” Civale. These works represent a career that transitioned through various phases of influence and exploration of artistic techniques, including expressionism, abstracts, and his current inclination toward collage and assemblage. The twelve exhibited works will be on display from April 5 through April 24, with the only theme being that of Civale’s experiences. An opening reception will take place on April 5 at 5:30-7:30pm. Gallery hours: Tues-
