“Art Through the Latiné Lens” at the NRCA Rotunda Gallery
The New Rochelle Council on the Arts celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month from September 11th to October 11th with a new exhibit at the NRCA Rotunda Gallery, “Art Through the Latiné Lens: An Exploration of Artists of Diverse Origins and their Various Modes of Expression” curated by artist/educator Martha Valenzuela.
A celebration of the histories, cultures and contributions of artists whose families are from Mexico,
the Caribbean, Central and South America and Spain, “Art Through the Latiné Lens” focuses on the artwork of artists from the New York Metropolitan Area working in various media representing the beauty, depth and passion of the Hispanic culture.
The NRCA Rotunda Gallery is located at City Hall, 515 North Avenue, in New Rochelle; Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4pm. The Opening Reception will be held Tuesday, September 12, from 5 to 7 pm.
