The Steffi Nossen School of Dance (SNSD) is celebrating its 83rd  anniversary with three concerts April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The dance concerts will honor the legacy and future of the School and all those who continue to dance through its doors. They will take place at the SUNY Purchase Performing Arts Center.  Curtain time for the Thursday Community Concert and Friday Benefit is 6:30 PM.  The Saturday Gala curtain is at 7:30 PM. Attendance at the Community Concert and Benefit Concert are free for clients of local social service, rehabilitation, and community organizations. Girl Scout troops are additionally invited to visit backstage, meet the dancers and earn a badge. For group  attendance passes please contact:  [email protected]

The Saturday, April 4th Gala will be preceeded by two Concerts April 2nd and  3rd, free to invited  groups from Westchester community groups, social service agencies and rehabilitation facilities.

The Gala willinclude a pre-concert Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction to raise funds for the school’s outreach, special needs, and financial aid programs; cocktails and silent auction bidding start at 5:30 pm; curtain is at 7:30 PM.

The program will include work by choreographers Marta Renzi, Michael Foley, Dani Cole, Daniel Padierna, Annie Doss, and Jesssica DiMauro Marx. They have set work on the school’s pre-professional performance groups including Junior and Senior Master Classes, Dance Theater Group, and the Steffi Nossen Dance Company.
