Purchase College Spring 2015 Contemporary Series- “Remembering James Tenney”

Purchase Percussion Ensemble performs one of James Tenney’s most performed works Three Pieces for Drum Quartet.

Also on the program Fantasy Variations by Michael Colgrass, Ostinato Pianissimo by Henry Cowel and Kyoto by John Psathas.

This event is part of ARTSEE, a festival showcasing new works of art throughout Westchester County in celebration of ArtsWestchester’s 50th anniversary.

Performance will take place in the Conservatory of Music Recital Hall.
