Being Alone: A Porches Tour Documentary

Local Element: Work from a Westchester Perspective is a series which provides a public showcase for new work, fosters emerging talent, and helps build a stronger community among area filmmakers.

Six young musicians hit the road in a breaking-down bus and ride from sea to shining sea, on tour as the “bummer pop” band Porches. Travel with them from their beginnings in a Pleasantville living room to indie success. Now based in Brooklyn, the band released their first full-length CD last year and have become regular fixtures at various NYC venues.
