The Ariel String Quartet

In its final concert for the 2013-14 season, the Westchester Chamber Music Society is excited to present this wonderful group  live in concert on Sunday, April 27th at 4:00. Formed in Israel, The Ariel String Quartet has quickly earned a glowing international reputation, performing widely in Israel, Europe and North America. These four young musicians will play Haydn’s Quartet in G Major, Op.76 #1, Britten’s Quartet #2 and Schubert’s Quartet in G Major D.887, a program that will showcase their brilliant and varied musicianship.

The concert will be presented, as always, in an extremely intimate venue with excellent acoustics, a setting in which chamber music can truly be appreciated. Seating is open, tickets can be purchased at the door and students are always encouraged to attend free of charge. Unique to the Westchester Chamber Music Society concert series is our traditional post performance wine and cheese reception where all are welcome to meet the artists.
