A Mother Earth Day Celebration: Honoring the Planet and its Stewards

| | | |

Join us for a powerful and inspiring evening in honor of Mother Earth Day, hosted by the Jacob Burns Film Center in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)-led Equator Initiative. This special event brings together environmental changemakers, thought leaders, and artists for a night of thought-provoking short film screenings, an engaging panel discussion, an electrifying live music performance, and a cocktail reception.

The evening will conclude with an electrifying live performance by AY Young, producer, singer, songwriter, UN Youth Ambassador, and sustainability advocate. As the visionary behind Battery Tour and Project 17, AY Young blends music and activism, using renewable energy-powered performances to inspire global action.

A cocktail reception will immediately follow the event in the Jane Peck Gallery. Presented in Partnership with Equator Initiative and Films on Purpose. This film is part of the Community Matters: Now More Than Ever series. This series is sponsored by:The Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation, Louis & Anne Abrons Foundation, Theodore & Renee Weiler Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, and Arts Westchester.
