Small Soldiers

A teen acquires a squad of Commando Elite action figures, only to soon find out that they’ve been programmed with military technology. When the toys suddenly spring to life and begin to act on their deadly directives, all hell begins to break loose. Often playing like a deranged version of Toy Story, Joe Dante’s Small Soldiers is one of the most subversive and genuinely daring family films of the 1990s.
