Fall Into the Arts
FALL INTO THE ARTS! with the Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation and engage your senses in an evening of art, music, dance, food and drink!
Join us on Thursday, November 14th from 7-9 PM at ArtsWestchester’s Sally and Melvin Shenkman Gallery, 31 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains to Celebrate the Arts with Dance, Music, Food, craft beers and a whiskey tasting!
- Peruse ArtsWestchest’s latest exhibit – explore various spheres of contemporary life and experience, from interpersonal relationships to climate change, consumerism, social media, financial markets, privacy and surveillance with tri-state artists.
- The art of dance – a site specific dance performance to Aretha Franklin performed by the Steffi Nossen Dance Company and choreographed by Michael Foley.
- The art of food – sample tasty bites by food artisans from Buon Amici, Le Jardin du Roi, vegan chef Marti Wolfson, and chef Baylka Krupp and tasty sweets by The Dessertist.
- The art of drink with a brew created for the event by Sing King Kill Brewery and a whiskey tasting by New Liberty Distillery.
- Then, put on YOUR dancing shoes and follow Arthur Murray instructor Michael Innocenzi to polish your dance steps.
The evening will include a live auction of items including an Aretha Franklin Gold Record, a Clam Bake at your home by Mt. Kisco Seafood, and a chance to pamper yourself with an In-Home Massage Therapy session.
All proceeds benefit the Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation Financial Aid and Outreach programs.
