The Symphony of Westchester All-Mozart Concert

An all-Mozart program featuring pianist Alon Goldstein will conclude the Symphony of Westchester’s current season on Sat., April 27, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. at Iona College’s Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium.

Goldstein, who frequently appears with the Symphony, will perform Piano Concerto no. 17, K. 453 in G Major. This appearance in New Rochelle is Goldstein’s last in a series of performances across the United States before an international tour. His extensive touring schdeule has also included Israel, South America and China.

Goldstein is the Artistic Director for The Distinguished Artists Concert & Lecture Series in Santa Cruz, CA,  and is also the Artistic Director of the Mt. Angel Abbey Bach Festival in Oregon. He created the Emerald Coast Music Alliance in Florida, which brings classical music to under-served communities.

Also on the Symphony’s April 27 program are Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525 in G Major and Symphony no. 29, K. 201 in A Major.

Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium is at 715 North Ave., New Rochelle. Ticket prices are $50 general admission, $35 seniors (65+) and $15 students.
