Teen Tuesday: “AmbiArt” Visual Art Workshop

If you like to draw and enjoy a challenge, then this after-school program is a must for students age 12-16 at ArtsWestchester.

AmbiArts workshops, is a technique developed by artist Donna Mikkelson, incorporating the principles of ambidextrous drawing that she calls “Spontaneous Symmetry”. Students get to experience drawing with both hands and are led through a series of individual ambidextrous doodling exercises “ambi doodles” that them build in a collaborative piece. The process engages both hemispheres of the brain, utilizes kinesthetic learning, calms nerves, builds teamwork and is fun!

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
