Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra Free Concert
Join guest conductor, Chi-Chi Lin Bastmann for a free concert with the Yonkers Philharmonic. Â Harpist Elaine Christy will perform the Gliere Concerto for Harp and Orchestra.
The concert will start with Mozart’s Overture to the Magic Flute and conclude with Mendelssohn’s Symphony #5 (Reformation.)
Violist and conductor Chi-Chi Lin Bestmann enjoys a diverse musical career including performances in Carnegie Hall, to appearing with Jay Z at Radio City Music Hall. She is currently on the faculty of Hoff-Barthelson Music School and at the Mannes College Extension Division.
Elaine Christy is an award–winning harpist. She has performed at high-profile concert halls including Steinway Hall, Carnegie’s Weill Hall, and with the CBS Orchestra on the television show Late Show with David Letterman. She is an instructor of harp at Princeton University.
