Yonkers Philharmonic – Family Concert

The Yonkers Philharmonic opens its 2018-19 season with a concert sure to delight adults and children.  It’s a selection of music designed to present the various sections of the orchestra with  Richard Strauss’ Serenade in E-flat major (13 wind instruments), Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No. 10 in B minor, Carl Heinrich Hubler’s Concerto for 4 horns and orchestra with the Metropolitan Horn Authority and Tubby the Tuba with Robert Sherman, narrator.

The concert is an ideal way to introduce non-concert goers to the sights and sounds of an orchestra while giving our faithful existing audience a real treat.
