Yonkers Community Art In Action | THE WORLD’S LANDSCAPE – PAINTING MURAL

|

Part I
This workshop will focus on a landscape composition study using acrylic or tempera paints. During this workshop children and adults will study (while sketching) various types of landscapes from different continents, and then finish the session studying landscapes from their native countries. New concepts that will be introduced include the basic elements of perspective a quick technique for sketching and some drawing techniques (such as hatch, crosshatch and tints).

Part 2
All quick sketches that were produced during previous workshop and new ideas will be combined into one large, collaborative and visually varied mural landscape, which will be painted on a craft paper.
