Writing@home with Misty Yarnall (fiction workshop series for students in Grades 4-8 via Zoom)

Through this Zoom workshop, students will participate in a variety of creative prompts and activities to jumpstart their creativity. Topics will range from worldbuilding, character development, plot structure, outlining, and positive sharing. Activities will engage writers on and off the Zoom platform to prevent excessive screen time. Students will leave this workshop with a community of young writers and a portfolio of short stories.

Class will take place on Zoom for six consecutive Tuesdays, starting October 11th and ending November 15th from 4:30-5:30 PM EST. It is best suited to students currently in grades 4-8. This class will be supportive, generative, informative, and fun!

Registration is $270 for the 6week series. Zoom link will be sent at the time of registration and again the day before class.
