Writing Workshop — Essay Writing with Herb Hadad

This is a 6-week class running Mondays between April 29 and July 10 (with a week off for Memorial Day 5/27).

Herbert Hadad is an award-winning essayist and former reporter for The New York Times, New York Post and Boston Globe who retired recently as a press liaison for the U.S. Department of Justice. Hadad is the author of “Finding Immortality: The Raising of One American Family” and is at work on a second non-fiction book. He has conducted his workshop at HVWC for more than 20 years. “The personal essay is the most flexible of all writing forms,” he says. “The practitioner can use it to solve a vexing problem, articulate joy or sorrow, induce laughter, celebrate an insight, bestow wisdom.” Bring a work in progress to the first session.

Tickets to this 6 week session are $320.
The session can be pro-rated for latecomers.
