Writing for the Fun of It! (Grades 3 – 5, via Zoom) with Tina Tocco
Do you love to write? Would you like to dive into a bunch of fun writing exercises this fall, plus hang out with other kids who love writing just as much as you?
In this five-week workshop, we’ll do the fun stuff. Be ready to have your brain fired up with a different prompt each week for some in-class writing. Then, you can share your work (only if you want — this isn’t school!). But if you do share, you’ll hear some great stuff because this is a positive feedback workshop. We’ll only focus on the best parts of your writing — not the stuff you wish you’d done better. We’ll also talk about favorite books, characters, podcasts, and more. This is the place where you can write from your heart and live in a world of words. Surrounded by words and writers? Is there any better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?
The workshop will run on five Sundays between November 7 and December 12, with a week off on November 28, from 1 – 3 pm EST. It will be taught via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed at the time of registration. (Please check spam / promotions filters.) Please email ask@writerscenter.org with any questions.
Registration is $175 at:
