Write Your World

Thursday, September 18, 2014 - Thursday, October 9, 2014
10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Everyone has their own voice and stories to tell, whether they stem from imagination or memory. This workshop is for all levels of writers in all genres. We will follow the Amherst Writers and Artists method, which encourages you to explore and take risks, discover your unique voice in a safe and supportive place. Through the evocative prompts that I provide, develop your unique voice and your creativity, explore new genres, and work through your blocks. Explore character development, creating atmosphere and place, and dialogue. During the workshop, we will write and then read our first drafts aloud, receiving only positive feedback. Introduction course not a requirement.

4 Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., 9/18/2014–10/09/2014
