Winter Break Teen TV Writers Room (in person at HVWC)

Join us IN PERSON at Hudson Valley Writers Center for this 1-day TV Writers Camp for teens. Students will participate in their own TV Writers Room, learn about 3-act structure, choose their genre, and start writing the pilot episode to their own collaborative screenplay.

Misty Yarnall is a Rochester-based writer, editor, and teaching artist. She received her BA in Creative Writing from Purchase College and currently works as the Administrative and Communications Coordinator and the Youth Programs Coordinator at the Hudson Valley Writers Center. She actively teaches creative workshops through libraries, homeschool co-ops, and nonprofit organizations. She is passionate about creating brave spaces for people to share their stories. She is the Youth Programs Coordinator at the Hudson Valley Writers Center.
