Windscape concert

Artist-in-residence at the Manhattan School of Music, Windscape has been hailed for its creative energy and musical curiosity.  Comprising flute oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and French horn, the ensemble has performed throughout the United States and has collaborated with outstanding musicians, including the pianists Jeremy Denk, Anne-Marie McDermott, and Jon Kimura Parker.  For us they will perform a program entitled “The Jazz Age” that will include arrangements of works by Louis Armstrong, Igor Stravinsky, Kurt Weill, and George Gershwin, as well as works for woodwinds by Hindemith and Villa-Lobos.
