Mount Vernon’s Lynette Washington was the 2005 Jazzmobile / Anheuser Busch Jazz Vocal Competition Grand Prize winner, and Dennis Bell was the recipient of the 2012 ArtsWestchester Arts Award.
Butch Jones has toured Europe with drummer Alvin Queen and has played with many internationally renowned jazz artists, including Sonny Fortune, Charlie Persip and the late Frank Foster at such well-known New York night spots as Mikel’s, the Village Gate, and the Village Vanguard, as well as the Jazz Gallery in Chicago.
