What’s Left Unsaid: Writing Around and In Spite of the Truth in CNF with Marco Wilkinson via Zoom

For creative non-fiction writers more than others, we rely on writing what we know.  Truthfulness and facts are the tools of our trade.  How do we move forward with our writing when these tools are taken away from us?  Family secrets, lies, denials, contestations and silences all offer challenges to the memoirist trying to accurately navigate their narrative into being. The simple passage of time and loss of access to the people or documents that might accurately describe history can also make the memoirist’s job seem untenable. This class will explore different writers’ approaches to writing when the truth is either missing in action or actively hidden by others or unapproachable even by the writer themselves.

This class will be taught via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed at the time of registration. (Please check spam / promotions folder.) Please email admin@writerscenter.org with any questions about registration or the link.

Tickets for this 4hour intensive class are $124. Please register at:
