We open our 31st season with guest conductor Dr. Robert Ambrose, from Georgia State University, conducting the haunting October by Eric Whitacre. Our soloist is our own Gina Serafin, oboe, performing James Kessler’s Hudson River Rhapsody. Other selections include: Magnolia Star, by Steve Danyew; Divertimento, by Roger Cichy;  Third Suite, by Robert Jager (conducted by Joe Bergamini); Beyond the Horizon, by Rossano Galante; and Extraction on No. 9, by Michael Schelle.  To end the program, we will honor the 100th anniversary of the World War I Armistice with a special medley arranged by Capt. Ken Force.
