Westchester Oratorio Society Holds Open Rehearsal in Katonah

Westchester Oratorio Society begins rehearsals Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:15 PM at the beautiful, well-lit, and climate-controlled Garden Room at the Katonah (NY) Village Library, just a short walk from the Metro North station. The group’s 2015-2016 Nineteenth Season – its ninth under the direction of Benjamin Niemczyk, features  Bach Magnificat and Poulenc Gloria on Saturday, November 21, 2015, 7:30 pm at the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, and Britten Rejoice in the Lamb, Duruflé Requiem and Fauré Cantique de Jean Racine on Sunday, May 1, 2016, 3 pm at the South Salem Presbyterian Church.

Prospective members are invited to join the group for an Open House Rehearsal on Tuesday, September 15 at 7 PM, to try out the venue, meet the membership, and learn more about singing with the Society. Competent singers in all voice parts with an ability to read music are welcome to join.
