In Greenwich Choral Society’s 99th Year and Westchester Choral Society’s 83rd year, we have partnered for a concert celebrating the beautiful music of Beethoven with his Mass in C Major, Op. 86. In addition to other pieces, we are thrilled to perform Runestad’s A Silence Haunts Me, a soul-stirring melody set to the text of a letter Beethoven sent to his family detailing his hearing loss.
