 … and this delectable program salutes them – along with ALL moms! A Copland House tradition returns to Lyndhurst as we celebrate Mother’s Day … this year with a French accent. Two of America’s most acclaimed and beloved pianists – Copland House’s Michael Boriskin and Caramoor’s former Director Michael Barrett – will meet in Lyndhurst’s imposing entry hall for a brilliant salon concert of music from the Gilded Age composed across the sea by Georges Bizet, Maurice Ravel, and Claude Debussy. Prepare to be dazzled and charmed by works for piano, 4-hands about Mother Goose, Sleeping Beauty, assorted farm animals, and kids’ household toys and games. And there’s no clean-up needed after the party!
