WCT presents Play in the Box: Something in the Way, written and directed by Rick Apicella

Play In the Box is a series that offers member playwrights an opportunity to present their never before seen plays, of any length, before an audience.

​The plays, all self-produced by the playwrights featuring actors and directors of their choice, will range from readings to fully staged performances.  Following each play, the audience will be asked to become part of the creative process through talk-backs that can help the playwright identify what works and what doesn’t in the play.

On a given Friday evening each month, playwrights are afforded an opportunity to present their plays to the public and further the development of their works in progress.

Come join us on Friday, March 13, 2020 to see a staged reading of Rick Apicella’s new work, Something in the Way, a delicious, rock n roll love story between two middle aged Gen Xers still trying to figure out if it’s better to burn out or fade away.
