WCChorus – Community Sing with Dr. Janet Galván

Join the Westchester Children’s Chorus for a community sing entitled “Music Heals” with the incomparable Dr. Janet Galván. Open to singers of all ages, this workshop will be a wonderful way for our community to join together in song and learn from one of the country’s leading choral conductors.

Dr. Janet Galván has empowered and inspired choral conductors, choral singers, and educators nationally and internationally. She has contributed to the choral art through innovative and diverse programming, staging, rehearsal techniques, and choral conducting workshops at Ithaca College, where she was the Director of Choral Activities for many years. Her singers are noted for creating a deep connection to audiences.

This workshop is $5 for students and $10 for adults.
Current WCChorus students do not need a ticket.
Students under 12 not currently enrolled in WCChorus must be accompanied by a participating family member or teacher.

Music will be sent to you upon registration.

Proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test will be required to participate.
Masks will be required during the event.
