Watercolor Values Workshop

This beginner class uses still-life to explore the ways that watercolor can be used to create different values. Participants will be able to experiment by creating values using different techniques such as more/less water, as well as experimenting using monochromatic and complementary colors to create values, and will walk away with a finished watercolor still-life painting. This class will be instructed by Lilly Gummerson, a multi-disciplinary artist from Mohegan Lake, NY, and is brought to you by KinoSaito. KinoSaito is an art center located in Verplanck, NY, and is committed to nurturing experimentation in every form and medium, and  honors the spirit of its founding muse, Kikuo Saito, by furthering his vision for an interdisciplinary art of making and moving, free of borders and definitions. All materials will be provided.
