Visions of Peace—Alleluia, Psalms & Requiem

Join David Štech and Westchester Oratorio Society on Saturday, May 3, 2025 when the group will present its spring concert entitled, “Visions of Peace—Alleluia, Psalms & Requiem.”  The performance will feature Randall Thompson’s “Alleluia,” Leonard Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms” and Gabriel Fauré’s “Requiem,” 7:30 PM at Bedford Presbyterian Church, NY.

The Society is now in its 27th season. This will be the group’s second concert under the baton of Mr. Štech, who was appointed artistic director in 2024, the third person ever to hold the position. The performance will feature soloists Dominic Scarozza, boy soprano, head chorister at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, David Salsbery Fry, bass, organist Daniel Beckwith and harpist, Barbara Allen. Though musically diverse, the conductor noted, “these three masterpieces evoke profound spiritual contemplation and are a celebration of hope.
