Video Workshops for Teens

| | |

Join us for a hands-on video workshop just for teens, led by Magic Box Productions and inspired by Bill Viola: Moving Stillness. Learn the basics of video production, including how to shoot footage, experiment with green screen effects, and reimagine works of art on screen. Explore big ideas like time, memory, or love, and create your own short video using accessible tools like iPads and OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).

No prior experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to play. This event is free and for teens only. Capacity is limited. Advance registration is recommended.

Magic Box Productions is an award-winning media arts nonprofit based in Pleasantville, New York. For over 20 years, they’ve brought professional artists into schools and communities across the region to foster creative expression, cultural connection, and digital literacy. The workshop is led by director and educator Danilo Randjic-Coleman, who has been with Magic Box since 2009. Danilo graduated from Hampshire College with a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Video, and Music Production.
