Two-Day Self-Portrait Workshop

In this two-day workshop, we will look inward as you travel across the landscape of your face and discover things you may not have seen before. Historically, many artists have painted self portraits throughout their lives. Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Rubens, Velazquez, Van Dyck, and Sargent, to name a few. By the end of this workshop, you will have created a preliminary drawing and a painting that captures the individual qualities and character that define the unique essence of you. Each student will work from life as they study the anatomy of their fave from a mirror. So come join us on this journey of self exploration!
