Learn to “fool the eye” with ceramic objects that look just like the real thing. In this workshop we will look at tips, tricks, and techniques to create hyper-realistic ceramic objects from models and source imagery that we bring in. We will focus on intimate scale objects to focus on detail. Topics for discussion include luster firing and alternative surfacing. Steven Montgomery works with large scale ceramic sculpture representing industrial objects.
