Thinking Outside the Box: Revision with CMarie Fuhrman via Zoom

This revision workshop is for creative nonfiction and memoir writers.
In this regenerative class, we will explore the soul of deep writing–of memoir and personal writing.  To understand both ourselves and the world we know, we must look deeply into our writing at what it is trying to tell us.  Consider this class part psychotherapy, part cartography, and part anthropology.  We will uncover the reason we choose the words we do. We will look at how the words we choose provide direction and we will practice typing our stories to the larger story of humankind.  Come prepared with a short work of memoir or personal writing, a  metaphorical trowel, and a desire to become couch, coach, and therapist to your story!
This class will be taught online using Zoom. Login instructions will be emailed at the time of workshop registration. Please check spam filters or email admin@writerscenter.org with questions.
Tickets are $124. Please register at

Please note: The Altman Persons of Color Scholarships are free and given on a first come, first served basis. Please notify us right away if your plans change and you cannot attend the class. We will then reopen the slot so another student may register. Thank you in advance for this consideration. Please sign up for no more than one scholarship slot per month. Thank you.
