ON VIEW: 12:00pm – 5:00pm every Wednesday – Sunday
This exhibition includes a rotation of works by some of the museum’s most beloved artists installed with contemporary art from the collection.
View works by Milton Avery, Alexander Calder, Stuart Davis, Richard Diebenkorn, Arthur Dove, Philip Guston, Grace Hartigan, Hans Hofmann, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe, Horace Pippin, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Rufino Tamayo, and others alongside works by living artists including Alfredo Jaar and Faith Ringgold.
Then and Now is curated in keeping with the spirit of our founding patron, Roy. R. Neuberger, who was committed to supporting artists by buying their work while they were alive, not after their death, when it would be too late for them to see income.
Generous support for Then and Now is provided by Neuberger Berman, the Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art, and the Purchase College Foundation.
