The Vibe Theory

Brooklyn based 4-piece, The Vibe Theory, was born out of a love for soul music.  This central tenet creates the foundation upon which their sound is built.  Channeling heavyweights like The Meters, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, John Scofield, D’Angelo and The Derek Trucks Band, The Vibe Theory draws both musically and stylistically from these masters while creating something uniquely their own – a danceable melange of funk-driven grooves, afro-cuban rhythms, R&B melodies, and jazz stylings.
