The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series with Alexis Cole
Poetry of the Lyric: American Songbook Explored
This is  a concert program of classics from the Great American Songbook with a special focus on lyricists such as Johnny Mercer, E.Y. Harburg, Ira Gershwin and Cole Porter.   This program appeals to all generations and is a great opportunity to expose young people to the music of the 30’s and 40’s while appealing to the sensibilities of a mature generation.
