The Social Fabric features recent works and site-responsive commissions by artists who use textiles and fabrics to explore issues of broad social consequence. The artists leverage the accessible characteristics of their materials to address vital themes through artistic languages and strategies. Their wide-ranging explorations include issues of identity, consumerism, climate, equity and justice.
