The San Lorenzo Complex

The Medici Chapels form part of a monumental complex developed over almost two centuries in close connection with the adjoining church of San Lorenzo, considered the parish church of the Medici family.  This lecture will discuss the history of the church and adjoining chapels, and the architectural and artistic works by Brunelleschi, Michelangelo, Donatello, and others, who made these buildings so beautiful.
