The Poetic Experience: How Experimental & Hybrid Work with Kristine Esser Slentz (via Zoom)

Let’s experiment with form and medium! We’ll explore the expansive talents of Dawn Lindy Martin, Bernadette Mayer, Theresa Cha, and Jayne Cortez among others in this online (or in-person) workshop! This course will not only introduce you to creators who challenge the concept of worded images but will also give you the opportunity to try your hand at the style(s) yourself. If you find your writing needs to bounce around on the page, jump off the page, or transport/transfer/mutate to another medium, find your home in this class.

NB: This class is capped at 15. This class will be taught on Zoom. Scholarship information will be available in April and will be due on May 15th.  Before enrolling in any HVWC class, please refer to our Course Policies and page about our Scholarships Thank you in advance.
