“THE LANDMARKS OF NEW YORK” EXHIBIT
Visit the Carriage House for a summer exhibition of 90 black and white photographs showcasing a selection of landmarks throughout all five boroughs of New York City.
The Jay Heritage Center announces the opening of its first major photography exhibit, “The Landmarks of New York.” Curated by renowned preservationist, author, and civic activist Dr. Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, the show fills JHC’s newly configured gallery space with an artful arrangement of black and white images amidst a distinctive terra cotta framework. The installation’s design enables visitors to walk along the exhibit much like a walk through the city itself. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10am-12 noon and 2 – 5pm. Sundays 2 – 5pm. For more information or to reserve seats for events that correspond with this exhibit, call the Director of Programs, Heather Craane, at (914)698-9275.
