The Great Bloom Out: Tours at the Percy Grainger Home and Studio
Help us celebrate the newly planted daffodils and join us for a tour of the Percy Grainger Home and Studio! The daffodils, donated last fall through White Plains Beautification Foundation and planted with the help of local volunteers, have started to bloom and will be spectacular this spring!
Percy Grainger, born in Australia, was an internationally known pianist/composer by the time he arrived in White Plains. He and his mother Rose moved into the house at 7 Cromwell Place in May of 1921. The home was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. Join us for a house tour at 1, 2, or 3 pm on April 11, 2021. (Tours will be limited to 5 people per group and masks are required.)
