The Four Seasons of Vivaldi and Piazzolla

Vivald’s Four Seasons has enchanted generations of music lovers with its vivid musical images of the natural world. Caramoor’s bucolic surroundings is the ideal setting to experience this work. The legendary tango composer, Astor Piazzolla was inspired by Vivaldi’s masterpiece to create his own “Four Seasons of Buenos Aires,” which Artist-in-Residence, Jason Vieaux will perform with bandoneonist Julien Labro. Vieaux has chosen Vivaldi’s beloved Guitar Concerto in D Major to open this program.
