The Dover Quartet concert

Comprised of graduates of the Curtis Institute, the Dover Quartet catapulted to international stardom following a stunning sweep of the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition.  The Strad has raved about “their exceptional interpretative maturity, tonal refinement, and taut ensemble.”  In the group’s debut with us, it will perform Beethoven’s String Quartet in F minor, Op. 95 (“Serioso”); Britten’s Quartet No. 2 in C Major, Op. 36; and Shostakovich’s Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 68
