THE CROSSROADS PROJECT

Science, visual arts, dance, music, and the environment connect, collide, and intersect in this dynamic performance piece.

Developed as a campus-wide initiative at Purchase College, The Crossroads Project explores Earth’s rapidly changing climate, the impacts of society’s unsustainable systems, and humanity’s opportunity for a new direction. Spearheaded by professor of Music Composition and Symphony Space Artistic Director Laura Kaminsky, the performance weaves together a chorus of artistic and scientific voices responding to one of the world’s greatest challenges. Featuring Fry Street Quartet, educator & physicist Robert Davies, composer Laura Kaminsky, painter Rebecca Allan, sculptor Lyman Whitaker, environmental photographer Garth Lenz, and dance educator Camille Litalien.
