The Art & Craft of Songwriting with Nina Ossoff (via Zoom)

Participants will learn the song structures, lyric/melodic tools, writing for specific genres and will be given weekly assignments to bring in songs on different themes. We will also listen to great songs and analyze them to see what makes them great and how to use that knowledge to best become a better songwriter.

The workshop series will take place for six consecutive Wednesdays beginning January 18, 2023. Class will meet from 7:00-8:30pm (Eastern Time). This class is intended for students age 16 and older. A minimum four students is needed to run the class, and a maximum class size is 15 students. Registration is $320 for the series, which will be taught via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed at the time of registration as well as the day before class.  Please write to ask@writerscenter.org with questions.
