Children’s “Art with a Story” Workshop
2-5:00 p.m.

Sunday, November 9th, come for an afternoon of mixed medium artistic
expression to ignite the many senses of the child’s soul. This children’s
workshop will begin with a very short film from the I Can Fly: Kids and
Creativity, from a series of short films made to stimulate and educate the
artists in all of us! Then we will take a guided tour of the current
gallery exhibit, John Nieman’s Art With A Story,as a understanding of Art
Galleries, Exhibitions and the importance of Art Appreciation as well as
expression. We will waste no time to get started on the hands on drawing,
coloring, or painting that the children want to make from the medium of
their of their choice. From that, the kids will Tell the Tale behind the
Art; a chance for them to practice a bit of prose writing and storytelling.
A picture says infinite words! Light refreshments will be served during the
film. Workshop fee is $5 per child. All art supplies are provided. Please
bring a cover up for your child if you know they love to paint.
The workshop starts at 2 pm, so don’t miss any part of it!
